A team of missionaries from First Baptist Church of Corpus Christi in conjunction with South Texas Children's Home Ministries and a few from other churches in our area ministered during Spring Break 2009. Working through the TIME ministries on the island the group worked in medical clinics while another team worked in VBS activities with children. General medical needs were met as well as prescriptions and wellness / nutriition advice was provided. The ministry with the children was equally fulfilling and helpful for the people of the Domincian.A follow-up, Medical, Dential and VBS trip is being planned for July 18-25.
