What is our purpose?
Revolution Ministries exist
so that we might glorify God in all things. Our desire is to have a
positive and influential impact on the Corpus Christi Community. We
believe that this can best happen when we: (1) ESTABLISH a
personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ, (2) EQUIP
students to begin their Christian journey strong, (3) ENCOURAGE
students to participate in ministry, (4) ENGAGE students in
recreation and fellowship, and (5) EMPOWER students to finish
their journey even strong.

Why use the name "Revolution
Ministry"?
The concept
for the name “Revolution Ministries” originated with one of our
students. Revolution means a sudden, radical, or complete change it
also means a fundamental change in the way of thinking about or
visualizing something: a change of paradigm.
Look at the
words Paul gave to that church and to all believers everywhere in
Colossians 4:5: “Live wisely among those who are not Christians, and
make the most of every opportunity.” If Christians make no effort to
affect the world around them, they are missing the point. Christians
should not blend in with everyone else. Instead, we should stand out and
we should affect others positively.

|
Our desire is to lead in a revolution that says
"Yes" to God and His Will and
"No" to Satan and his temptations.

What exactly does the logo
mean?
We chose our logo for two main
reasons:
(1)The cross is made up of two
parts. The nail is a reminder of Isaiah 53:5 “He was pierced for
our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities, the punishment
that brought us peace was upon Him, and by His wounds we are healed.”
The second part of the cross is made up of the arrow. The arrow
symbolizes repentance and our change in direction with the arrow pointed
to the cross.
(2)The
cross is located right in the middle of the word Revolution. This
serves as a reminder that Christ is at the center of everything that we
do.
