Half of our church's neighbors are fish because we are located right on the edge of the water. But in our Pastor's eyes, that means our mission field (our neighbors) is not limited to local missions, but includes overseas. Our mission goal is to reach out to all nations just as Jesus has commanded. "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you, and you will be My witnesses in Jerusalem, in all Judea, in Samaria and to the ends of the earth." Acts 1:8
If you have never thought of
yourself as a missionary, now is the time. Missions is simply
reaching out to our neighbors, whether locally or
internationally. Our church offers many opportunities to follow
through on our call to walk in Jesus' footsteps. Pray, talk to
God about what He has planned in your life. How would He want
you to use the gifts, talents and desires of your heart? And, we
invite you to join us in a life-changing experience! |
